Cheap source of small isolation transformers for balanced power conditioning

Here at the Asylum I usually post on the High-Efficiency Speakers forum, but here is some good information for Tweakers/DIYers:

Anyone interested in building inexpensive small individual balanced power conditioners will be interested in the NEW (not pulled) Signal A41-175-28 transformers being offered by Sarah Pritchard in Tucson Arizona for $5.50 each plus freight. When used in back-to-back PAIRS and derated to HALF of 175VA (unless you can operate a piece of equipment at 230V, in which case almost no derating is necessary), these make excellent balanced power conditioners for your signal source equipment, preamplifiers, and perhaps even small digital amplifiers. Of course you can use them on non-audio equipment as well, and their cumulative effect in a system -- each piece of equipment protected by its own small balancing power conditioner -- can be significant.

You can check her feedback:

As of this writing, she has about 60 units available. At these prices for brand new, unused trannies, I expect they'll move quickly. 30 pairs and they're history!

Details on this DIY project can be found here (clickable link at bottom of post):

I would post this information directly at the appropriate Audio Circle, but the only computer I have access to now (I'm on a break at work) blocks access to those forums. The Asylum doesn't get blocked, for some reason, so you folks get the information first!

Full disclosure: I have NO CONNECTION whatsoever with the seller.
