Al's your master at this one; I'm just chiming in with my own experience here.I'm using them as parallel filters and as inline filters.
The latter are installed in my PCs themselves. These work well too.
These R-C devices are cumulative in effect, as Al will tell you. I haven't experienced putting them anywhere that the effect wasn't at least neutral, and in fact, in every instance in my house more was better, period! So you can try a few different approaches alone, one at a time, or cumulatively with some confidence that you're going to get some benefit. Only question is how much benefit placed where. Don't limit your choices with these devices.
