I know what U mean about the little 3mm outlet mounting screws. I have damn near stripped one even using the correct sized screwdriver and getting it out might be an adventure if I ever want to swap in another receptacle. I have thought about replacing them with hex head screws but need to ensure the CF plate will mount flush if I do.
I too replaced the midrange driver mounting screws in my Alon Lotus SE mk ll's with non-ferrous screws and heard a nice/subtle increase in resolution. The Alon l's are next :-)
One of THE best tweaks I have found for any AC outlet, Oyaide included, is too attach a Golden Sound acoustic disc to the side of the outlet body. I have tried one on the backstrap but the side mount yields a bit lower noise floor as it is in direct/intimate contact with the outlet body.
I have thought about putting some kind of interface between the WPC-Z plate and the wall but the GS AD does wonders when attached to the outlet body but an interface will be something on my list of things to explore.
Cheers and thanks for sharing,
