It is very surprising to some (but not you, since you're asking the question) that different types of isolation under a power conditioner can make a difference in the sound. But alas, it is true in many cases.
What I would suggest is that you try some inexpensive ideas (read "free") before you spend any money. Each type of isolation will change the sound in different ways. See which one you like best for your system, then look for an audiophile grade solution if you feel the need.
1 - put something spongy underneath, like a pillow or foam padding
2 - put something hard underneath, like granite or tile
3 - put it on wood
4 - try some cones on 2 & 3 above
5 - etc, with whatever you can think of
