bearing isolators. Galen Carol Audio's site has some interesting information on isolation devices including their ratings. The FIM compared well to Aurios which I had been looking at and Stillpoints which I used to own. I just bought two new sets of the FIM on Audiogon and will give them a try. Like others who have posted I use the Herbies isocup with gabon ebony ball and they have worked well in my system. Also, the Dead Balls by Acoustic Dreams are excellent.
