Having been mentioned by Wellfed I though I could offer the more open minded a small item that I've been playing with....
you need
3 .. 60mm x 20mm wooden disc's [I used oak]
3 12mm or bigger but no bigger than 20mm steel ball bearings
drill a hole in the center of each disc to about half the thickness.
sit the balls in the holes and then carefully place beneath cdp or tt.
the results so far have been quite astonishing on the following cdp's
quad 99cdp2
cambridge 840
AA5
AAA5
marantz cd67
denon dcd920
there were others but I can't remember now
yesterday they were tried benath the plinth of a NAS morche combo with the same effect ...
I'll not tell you exactly what to listen for ...that will take the fun away ....but several of the owners are still gobsmacked !
