well, i can't answer your question exactly... but i did sleep at a holiday inn lastnight jk:) actually, i installed a couple of the 3.9s in my amp a couple months ago and i wouldn't call them slow at all. i considered bypassing each of them with a small sonicap platinum, but found it unnecessary in the end.
