I've not tried either, but do a DIY version of the Hot Box. I also have experience with several of Chris Ven Haus' designs and products to date.
FWIW, the Hot Box design is basic and proven. I use a cast aluminum box and cover with that design for analog; I'm not sure what metal Chris is using for it at this time. But the basic design and Chris' materials are excellent, so's his service and advice.
If you're not DIYing, then I don't think you can go wrong with Chris Ven Haus' Hot Box.
You have options on outlets (and plugs too?) with his product. May I suggest that you go for the best in his line that you can afford, because after experimentation I've found that the Furutech and especially the Oyaide outlets are superior to tweaked non-audio outlets hands down! Oyaide bests Furu by a significant amount. In each you have a choice of which plating; ask Chris for his advice on what might work best with your particular components and rest easy!
