Well, after trying various further search terms it appears that adding the higher grade Furutech outlets after the P&S outlets on the circuit is not a good idea and I should have the Furutechs first in line on the circuit.
Also did find an article which shows how to share the ground wire.
Will give that a try unless there is an alternate suggestion.
