Adcom ACE-515 refurb/rehab/refresh

I have a very elderly ACE-515 that, due to budgetary constraints, I would like to refurbish.

I am mainly looking for advice in selecting new MOVs. I don't want to radically change the unit, but if I can get a lower maximum let-through voltage without compromising safety and sound, that would be great. But if there are any other affordable and worthwhile parts upgrades, such as cap upgrades, I'd be grateful to get any advice.
