In selecting or building chokes for AC power line noise filtration, is there any reason to have a distinct preference for either toroid cores or EI cores over the other type? The aim, of course, is to feed my audio equipment good quality AC power.Any caveats or things to be especially careful about in working with one type or the other?
Thanks!
