Your RGPC device is an excellent sink for RF noise at your outlet. It will work even better if you treat the RF noise sources in your home.Look around.
Every device that contains a computer to operate it and is always "on" (if it can be turned on by remote control, it is always drawing AC power) is a possible noise source. Unplug them one at a time to see how much noise they are contributing. Install filters on their AC supply if they are. You should get even more of the benefits you described.
