Hi all
Just wondering about replacing the base board on my Thorens TD160. I've noted that the two favoured materials seem to be birch ply and acrylic but I have access to some panelite material at work which is extremely ridgid, extremely heavy and seems very inert. For anyone not familiar with Panelite it is basically the same as formica but thicker, 12mm in this case. Just wondered if anyone has tried this material already and if so what were the results? (before I start working with the stuff, it's a nightmare to work with!).
