Teflon is rather rigid for a plastic as compared to so many other elastomers discussed here. It's not likely to "absorb" vibrations well, IMHO.Use the archives here and research all the recommended isolation media and symp clone or constrained layer sandwiches instead. Maybe EAR or Herbies or Norsorex or Deflex, but not likely that Teflon will work for what you seek.
