Thanks Chris.I do not expect "half" of capacitor to sound better than "whole".
I am concerned that "half" could sound worse since the other "half" is not used or that using capacitor this way could have negative implications for capacitor's life expectancy.
In theory I could use 2 double capacitors to replace 3 single electrolytic, then one of them will be fully utilized and another one only 50%. In my mind they will not behave exactly the same and another point is that they are used in "P" filter of the power supply (which is in the separate enclosure).
Maybe is better to keep them separate as much as possible to reduce any eventual, internal interference?
The another two are used in amplifiers circuit, on the opposite sides of the PCB, another reason to use separate capacitors (one "half" only).
I am right or I am being to picky?Thanks.
