Re: instead of bi-wire jumpers?

Because the quality of the metal used in the stock jumpers/plates is usually very low grade. One can deposit a thin layer of gold on just about anything but if the base metal is junk/low grade, U have a gold plated piece of low grade metal.

Your idea of using the same wire to connect the posts together is a very good one. I would use that method instead of using jumpers BUT then if the speakers are True Bi-wire ready, then a set of Bi-wire cables would be to your advantage.
