The purpose of the crossover circut is to seamlessly blend the individual drivers into a single sound source, thus such circuts are very driver-specific. IOW the JBL crossovers are only useful with their intended JBL drivers (there are no one-size-fits-all crossover circuts). The heavy woofer magnet implies intended use in a ported enclosure (sealed Acoustic Suspension enclosures utilize the trapped air mass for cone damping & thus a large magnet is contra-beneficial to such designs). Successful DIY speaker builders acquire measurement equipment & modeling software in order to design a suitable enclosure & appropriate crossover circut.
