The finest and the most expensive (often not the same ; ) amps, speakers, source and wires will mean little if they don't 'flow' together well and the sonic mix that comes out the end of the pipe provides a high level of enjoyment for the listener. Much more an art than a science.Also the reason why price is a marginal determinent in the true 'value' of a piece of audio gear.
