Look in your Yellow Pages under "Insulation Contractors' Equipment and Supplies" or "Insulation Materials." You will find local suppliers who deal with HVAC contractors and small builders. These companies will be more willing to sell by the carton (or even individual sheet) than will the big companies like 84 Lumber, which are geared toward providing materials to the mega-builders.
