Hello.. I am obviously not Mr Risch but I thought I might have some useful informationI use Room Tunes© Mini Corner Tunes©. They were actually my first room treatment. I can tell you that the design is effective.
They removed most all audible slap echo in my small room. I perceived a modest increase in soundstage width/depth with an even greater increase in image specificity! They are sill were I put them and wouldn't come down if they didn't need to be cleaned
They are made like a thin triangular pillows with a flattish piping, covered with an open weave fabric. The stuffing is similar to 1 1/2" polyester batting. It is compressed slightly by sizing the stuffing close to the actual inside dimensions if the cover. The unusual design feature is a (about 3/4") smaller triangle made of thin cardboard(poster board). It is placed between the stuffing and cover on the side that faces the room.
They can be well installed with simple push pins or self adhesive Velcro©At $68.95 for a set of Minis(I paid $59), I feel like I have gotten more than my money's worth
If you are looking for something broadband I'm sure it would have to be considerably bigger and thicker plus you would need to engineer a way to install something that large
I hope that helps
Julien
