Well, they were right, but for the wrong reasons. ;-)Yeah, these speakers were mid-70's and had some open weave stuf that looks like upholstery. I'd like to find something similar that has that retro look but, at the same time, looks fresh. I will have to keep the "not be too cautious" in mind. You're right the stuff sold as speaker cloth, for the most part, looks like crap.
