I did this on my MMGs, and what you have looks right, with the drivers being out of phase.But, there is a whole forum dedicated to planars and many people have documented their efforts. YOu can ask your question there:

Here is a link to the tweak section of the planar forum. Scroll down a bit, and there many 1.6 mods, even active/ passive line level crossovers....which having done both, I would strongly recommend going active vs. upgrading the passives.
