If you intend to remain with the UK 13A plug, I would recommend the use of the Furutech FI-UK 1363 (for the materials used and the ‘sound’) and suggest that you investigate the IsoClean RFT-13 socket (available from angelsoundaudio.co.uk and superior to other UK sockets for audio purposes). You might consider utilizing Schuko plugs and sockets — there is quite a range of manufactures and materials utilized to choose from, and later in the year Oyaide should add Schuko sockets to the their line of products — though to do so would require, to conform to regulations and address risks, somewhere on the spur/line, but prior to the equipment, a fuse suitable to the load of the equipment and the rating of all mains wire and cable employed. With Schuko plugs and sockets, apart from the one fuse mentioned, there are, then, only the fuses in the items of equipment; Schuko are rated for the mains supply values of the UK and, provided fundamental issues of fusing as noted are addressed, under EU harmonization, the use of said would not obviate insurance policies nor transgress regulation.
