I have the super ah 4000. It had the feet but I pulled them off and have it sitting on herbies ebony gabon ball, then I have 10 pounds off shot sitting on top of it. This set up imo is a big improvement over the super feet.
I have been curious about the ac direct cord, have thought about replacing it with a vh audio flavor 3 cable I have sitting around. Curious to see if that would do much to change the sound. Not sure how good the ah upgraded cable is. I haven't done it yet because I am not sure if blue or brown is neutral or hot. Does anybody know?
I have also put generic blue tack (walmart poster hangnging tack) all over the inside, anything metal. Also added dynamat to the cover and chassis, huge improvement in bass impact and dynamics.
I have great amperex and mullard tubes with tube dampers.I've done almost all you can do to it without changing caps. I like it that much that I am interested in doing the caps. It is a really great player.
