I use cedar on my sources & TVC, granite under my stands,coupled with rubber footers. I use Maple under my amps. this is in my main. I personally think trying differant woods as the best way for components. cheap & very effective way to final tune your system to your liking. I believe in using tone woods big time. I do NOT believe in Nuetral so complete isloation means nothing to me.. I would rather work with what is going on...like a GREAT drippy toned guitar.
