DIY notch filters for speaker cables.... 1/ 2pi* square root[L*C]

so, if we took this one step beyond the Walker or ENACOM which are effective, if generic, solutions to conductor resonance... why not exploit the formula of Resonant Frequency = 1/ 6.283* sqrt[inductance*capacticance] .... then put the appropriate damping resistor to convert that extra energy into heat... or following recent trends, you could place an elegant LED in place of the resistor and watch it blink.... I'm not sure if the theoretical resonance of a meter length (was that 50 MHz per meter, I forgot ???)
holds up due to cable capacitance... then the question arises... do you include cable capacitance into this calculation and adjust the parts accordingly, or if possible put the cable, as is, on a test bench and sweep it with RF seeking a resonant peak ? ... then attach the appropriate notching circuit in parallel...
