Thanks Jon, so I am definitely going to build my own bass traps and acoustical panels according to your provided information, I would like to know if ther are any construction pics of the acoustical panels as I am slightly confused on the frame construction. I assume, and correct me if I am wrong, that you would construct a 2'x4' frame out of 1"x4"s and use additional 1"x4" pieces horizontally every 14" to secure the fiberglass insulation meaning that the insulation is horizontal as well, the sandwich would consist back to front of rock wool,poly batting, fiberglass insulation, poly batting, burlap. would the 1x4 frame work well with 6.5" fiberglass insulation, also I would like to know if speaker cabs are in corners left and right of drums should I use bass traps behind them or acoustical panels.
