I would rubbed the Micro-Smooth from the center to the outside of the disc. You should also first apply Optrix per instructions in order to remove the silicone mold release that is coated on the CD and tends to blur/scatter the laser beam. I tried the Micro-Smooth on several CDs but heard no difference in sonics on my high resolution all horn system. Perhaps because I rubbed from center of the disc outwards. Try it both ways on some non-favorite CDs and let us know if you hear a difference.Happy Rubbing !
