I know how worthwhile what you did was

I have changed out ALL of the electrolytics in every piece of vintage gear I have. It is hugely time consuming and you have to be careful but you are right. The difference is usually breathtaking. After all, we are talking about replacing as many as 50 or 75 tired or worn out electrolytics.

Now imagine changing out every single resistor! I've done that to a few too. Not as dramatic as the cap changeout but it greatly reduces noise, mostly. Schottkys are very worthwhile too. Also check for hot regulators and transistors. They are common and most of the time they are not heat sinked and adding sinks can prolong life. I use a Rat Shack infra-red thermometer for this. You can scan the temps. of all the parts in a minute or two.

I even match the values of each part channel to channel. Why not?
I do not want to get into a silly cap. debate, but the Panasonic FM was an excellent choice. Easily as good or better than anything else.
