I agree that Oyaide gear would seem to be overpriced in the US. That's similar to what many audiophiles in other countries have complained about concerning a number of US products, as well (more so when the dollar had greater value). I really don't like to overspend, but in the case of Oyaide, it's testimony towards what I and other's see as high-value, even at perhaps an inflated cost. I've yet to read where an Oyaide buyer had remorse based on price, nor *any* buyer's remorse, for that matter (other than the over-the-top wall plate, as I've read). my 2 cents
