They don't make as big a difference in my setup as the reviewer heard in his, but they do seem to take a little high-frequency glare out of the system--not that there's much there in the first place. I don't like to place things atop my amps--which need a lot of venting--so I have them on the floor, in front of each amp. I haven't experimented with them on top of my power cords.
