Because you probably bought that Audioprism Debut amp for MUCH less money than what Mark Levinson relabeled as Red Rose and sold for $7000 :)
History aside, you can use different 12AT7 tube for Gain and Driver positions, in this amp and other amps. I would recommend vintage, real Tung-Sol 12AT7 (not production Tung-Sol), as these sound great and can still be found for reasonable money.
