Tubes Asylum Questions about tubes and gear that glows. FAQ |
|
Hi,
I heard good things about ECC32 tubes in place of 6SN7 tubes.
However, I understand that they are not a direct replacement for 6SN7.
ECC32 draws 50% more heater current than 6SN7.
My Wright Sound WLA12A uses a pair of 6SN7 tubes.
Can I use ECC32 tubes instead without damaging my transformer?
Thanks in advance for your help.
