Smooth-plate Telefunken ECC83 have been selected and distinguished with red tips, and also with blue, green and yellow painted tips. I don't think you'll find them "NOS" (unused) that way, however - those are usually used pulls taken from specilized equipment. But used vintage examples that are well tested can be wonderful, and last for many years to come.
