Stick with the Russian 6N23-P evs. They hold up well and sound better than people admit. Look for earlier dates, especially the 70s or 80s. I have some rockets that sound amazing.
The best alternatives are Tungsram or Telefunken. I was fortunate to accumulate quite a few of these types in the early 2000s when prices weren't so high. My 1999 audible illussians M3 is still sounding great. I run it every evening for 3 or 4 hours.
