Thanks for the replies.
ARC gave me a lengthy reply. Basically, as i have guessed it, they pointed to several issues:
1) using unmatched tubes;should buy ARC tubes at 3 times the price! (don't agree)
2) driving demanding speakers at loud volume (don't agree. i play soft)
3) servo got problem (don't agree)
however, they strongly advise against setting the bias lower than 65mA, which i agree totally.
personally, my conclusion is simply - the current production of svetlana winged-c 6500 is inferior.
