Tubes Asylum Questions about tubes and gear that glows. FAQ |
|
Newbie question,
I have a Scott 299A (late model) that calls for 7189 output tubes. It came with Sovtek EL84M's that measure 21.4V across the 170ohm biasing resistor. The manual calls for 24.5V with the 7189's. Any suggestions on bias voltage for the EL84's. The amp is stock.
Thanks,
Larry.
