Good point. I forgot to say that the Mark 3 standard bias setting runs each KT88 with 70mA to get me to 35 Watts at idle per tube. From page 2 of the data sheet of the GE6550A, it lists the triode connection max plate voltage of 500V and does not list the screen voltage. Sometimes my plate voltage is over 500 since my line voltage varies from 120 to 124.xx Vac.
I was just afraid of the combination of all that being hard on the 6550 and actually the KT88 as well. But I do not know much about tubes so let me know if I am worrying for nothing.
