see link below. I think they're using different output tubes now (the supply of the 11BM8's must of dwindled). I also think they fixed the melting plastic socket problem (we're using the silicone O-ring quick fix on ours).Also FWIW, if you (like me) lack the skills to build a nice case for this amp, S5 also has a fairly nice enclosure. I put ours in one of these, and it's now on its second kid's worth of college hi-fi eployment :-)
Oops, the name of the amp is "K-12"; I had it wrong in the original post, 'cause I was too lazy to check.
