I think that guy is mono, but has the same styling, so is within a couple years. There are concentric left right controls for treble, bass and level (with a separate master volume control knob on the right side of the unit.

As for the previous email, I dont think it is the "Knight-Kit 83-Y-778 Stereo Control", because I think that one is a three knob passive volume/balance control to marry two mono amps in stereo (Like Dynaco did once for the PAM-1 or whatever that mono pre was called).

The other two are possibilities. I also found reference to 83YX776, 83YX768 as well as those two. I wonder if the -776 and -768 are the best candidates because of their # proximity to the mono unit -754 (as well as the -778 control) with the same period styling.

Thanks for the investigation assist. By the way, I am really liking the unit in operation.
