Questions about tubes and gear that glows. FAQ

any ideas with this?
I know one mans junk is anothers treasure, & some would say why bother- but,.. and being that the current living situation does not allow me to crank a bigun up I have to diddle with small amps
the wattage is suppose to be around 5-8 watts

this one though uses a different tube lineup - same sort of amp
12au6, 50L6-power,35Z5-recto--- is even lower around 1 watt

I know that I will have to use a isolation tranny& will get a GFCI plug as well
but I was wondering
1) how can I get more wattage-- around 10-15 watts
2) which power tube 7 pin or 12 pin could I use to achive this?
a 6JN6A looks interesting @ 17.5 W

I just wanted a bit more out of it
any suggestions?
