Tubes Asylum Questions about tubes and gear that glows. FAQ |
|
Okay, I bought a Timster T-200 tube headphone amp off ebay for the office. Works and sounds fine (so far) for the price paid (less than $100.00). The data sheet indicates the two types of tubes are 6P14 and 6N3. However, the printing on the tubes is different:6P14 has printing 6P15
6N3 has printing N2-1What can I replace these tubes with (when the time comes). Googling these tubes I certain I can replace the 6P14/15 with an EL84, but nothing for the 6N3/N2-1. Any hints/help
Thanks.
