Smart move on the Canary's.. In 4 years, amps have come & gone, but not once have I thought to sell my Canary, tough as nails & build quality is extremelly good. I have rolled about every 6sn7 out there in the canary & winners would be Ken-Rad black glass , Raytheon WGT.Both are distict in there sonics,..You should be able to tune that amp easily with 6sn7 rolling..responds well & easily audible.Those chrome dome sylvania's are just o.k...not bad,but not near as good as the above mentioned IMO. I think the clear glass VT Ken-Rad is the same as the black glass version. The above are more musical, smooth but extended top to bottom
