Hey Ron, Thanks for this info. It's an LK-72(A) that has been rebuilt. Since I know so little about this world (but I'm in the right place, obviously!), I will read up some more on adjusting the DC balance. I printed a copy of the manual from the HH Scott site you linked to already. I guess I missed - or glazed over - the part about DC balance. I love, love, love the sound of tubes, but just don't want to have to become an electrician in order to own them. Thanks again! Zoë
