Dear friends,
I have an ARC REF-3 preamp and like it very much !!!
However, I have a little concern. When I plug it into the mains (NOT when I switch it on), I can here a little "click" sound inside. Recently, I have discovered that this sound is due to a kind of "spark" (at least a "flash") that can be seen inside, somewhere near the transformer on the right-side on the preamp.
Could you be so kind as to tell me if the same thing happens in your unit ??? To see this "spark", you need to plug in into the mains in the dark.
