Im afraid stu is probably correct but does this amp have a rectifier tube or does it use diodes? A shorted diode will cause a blown fuse on turn on.Somtimes the power trans can be repaird by just
digging out a primary wire and insulating it if its crimped or shorted against the transformer bell or case.
