Gold Lion KT88 Reissue (new sensor).. who has tried them?

I've only read one post (by ernie) describing the sound of the new Gold Lion KT88 Reissues by new sensor.

Just hoping a few other people can come forth with their experiences before I drop the quite high asking price for a quad.
