What’s the Matshushita durability as compared to the other tubes on my list, including the JJ?I’m concerned about the JJ’s because of durability issues. Jim McShane states at his website that “If you purchase 6922 JJ tubes, I guarantee they have been tested as thoroughly as possible and they will work properly out of the box. But due to the extreme demands placed on these tubes by many (most?) designers, I cannot guarantee they won't become noisy or microphonic once installed†He does think they are the best current production.
BTW, the 6H23N-EB I’m considering are NOS
