I have a homemade pre-amp based on two 6922/E88CC tubes. Got two sets of tubes, Sovtek 6922 and Brimar E88CC. I don't know much about the Brimar tubes but the Sovteks sound a lot better. Very good in the upper range and good bass....and I really don't what brand names are on my tubes, if I like the sound I am satisfied. If someone disagrees...thats fine too.
