I would bet that shill bidding on eBay has cost consumers 10 (or is it 100?) times more money than phony second chance offers. It's MOSTLY a suckers game now for buyers.

If eBay really wanted to minimize shill bidding, why don't they just give you the number of unique items that bidderx has bid on that seller's auctions? Instead of the confusing numbers that they are providing.

eBay stock hit a recent high of almost 34 back in November. Since then it's been on a pretty steady decline to 28 and change today. Maybe they are getting desperate?
